COVID-19 POLICIES / PROCEDURES

GRIT Basketball is fully committed to maintaining compliance with CDC guidelines for Covid 19. We ask parents and players to email us gritbasketball@gmail.com following a known exposure to someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19. Please follow CDC recommendations to reduce risk of transmission.
STANDARD PROCEDURES
Pre-registration and Walk-ins
You MUST pre-register for a training session. Absolutely no walk-ins will be allowed.
Bring your own basketball – players must bring their own basketball to sessions.
Drop-Off / Pickup
- All players must pre-register before showing up to training.
- All players must leave as soon as training is over.
Maximum # of Players - Maximum of 25 spaces will be allowed for players to register per session.
Parents and Spectators - Parents may stay to watch training. Please be mindful of appropriate areas to sit or stand during sessions to reduce clutter.
Sanitizing – Players are expected to bring their own hand sanitizer. We recommend sanitizing your ball after training.
Social Distancing is recommended when possible by players and coaches.
Face Covering - Masks are optional for players and coaches. Please follow proper CDC guidelines when in contact with someone who may have had Covid.
Training Sessions:
- We will offer 3 sessions per day.
- Each session will last 1 hour and 15 Minutes.
- Players must leave the gym immediately following training. No lingering.
- Players must stay in the car until their session begins.
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
If the player tests positive for COVID-19 or lives with someone who tested positive, the player must:
- Notify GRIT Basketball coaches immediately via email at gritbasketball@gmail.com
- Quarantine for 5 days
- Email the player's negative test results to gritbasketball@gmail.com
- Wear a mask to training as a precaution
If a player has no COVID-19 symptoms but is on a team that is paused due to a positive player or coach, the player must:
- Notify GRIT Basketball coaches immediately via email at gritbasketball@gmail.com
- May return to training immediately if no symptoms are present.
- Wear a mask to training as a precaution
COVID-19 Symptoms - players experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 will not be allowed to participate in sessions until they are symptom free for 5 days.

YOUR FIRST GROUP TRAINING SESSION IS ON US!
If you're new to the GRIT Basketball program, your first Pre-GRIT session is on us! Pre-GRIT sessions allow you to get a feel for our training and us to get to know you. Once we receive your completed registration form, we will contact you to schedule your free session. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into the GRIT Family!
