Maryland secured its second high-profile N.J. recruit on Saturday night as Franklin junior Diamond Miller, a first-team all-state selection as a sophomore year ago, announced her non-binding commitment to the school.
The announcement was made on Twitter. Miller can sign her National Letter of Intent next year.
Miller, averaging 23.7 points per game this year after her 18.1 points per game led Franklin to its first-ever Tournament of Champions title last March, was touted as one of the most sought-after recruits on the east coast and is part of a dynamic junior class in New Jersey.
